Paint the Province Purple!

On June 6th, CUPE-OSBCU education workers, joined by members from ETFO, OSSTF, OECTA and AEFO will paint the province purple! 

Are you a CUPE member, parent, grandparent or community member concerned about how underfunding is impacting schools and students? 

Sign up to attend one of the events in your community and go door to door, talking with neighbours about the impact of cuts to staff and what we can do together to make sure that schools and students have the resources and supports they need.   

We will be asking community members to show their support for public education by displaying lawn or window signs and by signing a petition calling on the Provincial Government to increase funding for public education.  

No experience with door-to-door canvassing is necessary! We will provide a short training and you will be knocking on doors in pairs. Some of the events will be community outreach at local community events.
